Materials: Makes 1 Budding Easter Basket

- 4-inch x 4-inch round, handled Easter basket or tin
- If needed: 1 water-proof liner for the interior of the basket
- Brick floral foam
- 10 Stems freesia, all white or yellow
- 5 Stems green or yellow hypericum - color to compliment bloom color
- 1 Yard decorative ribbon to compliment container
- Floral clippers, knife, scissors and floral preservative/food

Step 1 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative/food for 30 minutes.
|
|
|
Step 2 - Cut the floral foam to fit the container/water-proof liner.
|
|
|
Step 3 - Cut the freesia and hypericum stems to approximately 2-inches in length.
|
|
|
Step 4 - On one side of the container, insert the freesia deeply into the floral foam. Then insert the colorful hypericum into the other side of the container.
|
|
|
Step 5 - Tie the decorative ribbon in a bow around the handle of the basket.
