Materials for Two Seasonal Candlesticks:
- 2 footed candlesticks with a flat base (the base of each should be large enough to hold a 3-inch diameter piece of floral foam)
- Flowers and foliage- 6 stems of the following: purple lisianthus, orange lilies, orange spray roses, brown-berried hypericum, leather fern and boxwood
- 1 Brick floral foam
- Floral bowl tape or scotch tape
- Two 12-inch long taper candles
- Floral clippers and knife
- Floral preservative/food
| Directions:
Step 1 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative/food for about 30 minutes.
Step 2 - Cut 2 squares of soaked floral foam approximately 3"-inches x 3"-inches. The size depends on the diameter size of the base of the candlesticks.
Step 3 - Place squares of floral foam atop candleholders. Use floral tape or scotch tape to secure the soaked floral foam to the candlesticks. Stretch the tape, slightly off center, across the floral foam and adhere to the rim of the candleholder; then insert 1 taper into the center of each square of floral foam.

Step 4 - Cut the leather fern, boxwood, and brown-berried hypericum into 4-inch lengths. Use each individual frown of the leather fern and also insert boxwood and hypericum around the base of the foam and throughout the sides and top of the floral foam.
Step 5 - Use the lily blooms individually, leaving a 3-inch stem, and insert them into the floral foam, spacing them equally around the candle.
Step 6 - Cut the purple lisianthus to approximately 3-inches in length and insert between the lilies.
Step 7 - Use the individual blooms of the spray roses, leaving a 3-inch stem. Place them individually throughout the arrangement.
