- 3 stems blue iris
- 3 stems white cushion mums
- 5 to 6 stems leather fern
- 3 stems pittosporum

| Directions: |
Step 1 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative/food for 30 minutes. |
Step 2 - Place 2 dry floral foam bricks on the bottom of the picnic basket. |
Step 3 - Insert the waterproof liner into the picnic basket, stabilized and propped up by the dry floral foam. |
Step 4 - Cut the soaked floral foam to fit inside the waterproof liner. |
Step 5 - This design features flowers flowing out the sides and front of the picnic basket, with the basket's lid propped half way open. Therefore, prop the lid up by using the ends of flower stems, cut to approximately 6-inches in length. Use these stems near each hinge to prop the lid open halfway. Now the flowers have room to peek out of the basket. |
Step 6 - Cut the greenery to approximately 8-inches in length and insert throughout sides and front of floral foam. |
Step 7 - Cut the stems of both varieties of roses, as well as the cushion mums to varying lengths, with the longest at approximately 8-inches and the shortest at approximately 4-inches in length. |
Step 8 - Insert the longest stems in the front of the basket, with the shorter stems near the back, scattering each variety evenly throughout the picnic basket opening. |
Step 9 - Cut irises to 3-, 5-and 6-inches in length. |
Step 10 - Insert irises in a cluster, placed off center in the picnic basket opening. |
Note: Use cushion mum whole stems in addition to separate laterals. |
